Meeting between MP Angelo Iacono, the Mayor of Laval and the Laval City Manager to discuss infrastructure priorities for Alfred–Pellan.
February 15, 2019 – Laval, Quebec – By investing in our infrastructure, we are creating living spaces that are just as sustainable, vibrant and inclusive as our communities. Over 670 infrastructure projects have been approved province‑wide, and 75 projects in Laval have received funding in the last three years. These projects help build a better future for our communities.
In an effort to continue to have a tangible impact on the everyday lives of Laval residents, Angelo Iacono, MP for Alfred–Pellan, met with Laval Mayor Marc Demers and City Manager Jacques A. Ulysse to discuss common priorities for the eastern part of the city. The development of this part of the island is a concern that deserves to be addressed with a shared vision that supports sustainable projects.
The meeting also highlighted the projects that the various orders of government have in common and the tools that can be used to build a future together.
Mr. Iacono said that he was pleased with the meeting, which paved the way for a sustainable partnership with the City of Laval and for projects that will benefit its residents.
