Canada Summer Jobs 2021 launching soon
December 16, 2020 – Laval, Quebec – Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) gives our community’s not‑for‑profit organizations and small businesses the opportunity to support and train young Laval residents, who will be able to develop their skills over the course of a rewarding job experience.
Today, Alfred-Pellan M.P., Angelo Iacono, speaking on behalf of the Honourable Carla Qualtrough, Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Disability Inclusion, announced that the 2021 edition of CSJ is launching soon. The program will provide wage subsidies to community organizations and local businesses to create quality summer work experiences for young people aged 15 to 30.
This coming year, up to 120,000 job opportunities will be available across the country for young Canadians, a 50% increase over the 80,000 approved in 2020. In addition, more flexible temporary measures will be implemented, including

Angelo Iacono is strongly encouraging Alfred-Pellan’s organizations and businesses to apply for the CSJ program between December 21, 2020, and January 29, 2021.
