Angelo Iacono, Member of Parliament for Alfred-Pellan, recognizes the contribution and achievements of 150 citizens and organizations in the riding

Angelo Iacono, Member of Parliament for Alfred-Pellan, in presence of the Minister responsible for Seniors, Anti-Bullying, and responsible for the region of Laval, Francine Charbonneau, and Deputy Mayor, David De Cotis, awarded 150 recognition medals to citizens and organisations of the riding for their outstanding contributions and achievements.

Over 400 citizens were present for the event, which began by an official rising of the Canada 150 flag, assisted by Cadet Squadron 784 from Saint-Vincent-de-Paul, and the royal army cadets of 2567 Dunkerqueand 3028 St-François in honour of Canada’s 150 years since Confederation.

Followed by a convocation ceremony, awarding local citizens and organisations nominated for their outstanding achievements in the following categories: Sports, Arts, Volunteering, Organisations, Seniors, Youth, Mentor, Young Entrepreneurs & professionals, Professionals and Business, and Outstanding Citizen.
