Alfred-Pellan seniors involved in a new project
Saint-François-de-Sales seniors’ club in Laval to receive project funding
April 16, 2019 – Laval, Quebec – The Government of Canada recognizes the contributions of seniors, past and present, to our communities and to our country. That is why Angelo Iacono, MP for Alfred-Pellan, on behalf of the Minister for Seniors, the Honourable Filomena Tassi, announced an investment of $2,532 under the New Horizons for Seniors Program (NHSP) for a project by the Saint-François-de-Sales seniors’ club in Laval.

This initiative will allow the organization to continue serving as a support and recreation centre by providing meaningful opportunities for seniors in our community. The purchase of a trolley to help move chairs and blinds for the activity room will enable the Saint-François-de-Sales seniors’ club to continue providing our seniors with a place where they feel at home.
This project will help Alfred-Pellan seniors continue to make concrete and valuable contributions to the Laval community. They will also maintain an active and engaged role in our society while helping to break their isolation.
